10 Things For My Dad On His 10th Father’s Day

June 16, 2013 By callmehannah 7 Comments

Today is Fathers Day.  I am 10 years old and it’s my dad’s tenth Father’s Day. I wanted to show him how special he is to me. Here are 10 things that my dad has taught me.

  1. He has taught me to look on the brighter side of things and and to always look for the good in everything and everyone.
  2. He has taught me that when I start something I should always finish it – whether it is a book, a post, a project, a craft or a school test.
  3. Do what you love and love what you do.
  4. He has  taught me to think (at least twice) before I act, speak or write and to think about how what I do or say might make other people will feel.
  5. My dad has taught me to make my own choices and to follow my heart.
  6. He has shown me that giving back is not only the right thing to do, but it feels good to do it.
  7. My father tells me to follow my passion whether it’s the environment, karate, my blog or music.
  8. Family is the most important thing in life.
  9. My dad taught me to love reading and what it can do for you. He said it would help with writing stories, for school and on my blog and it will help me be more creative.
  10. My dad taught me about baseball, the postions, the players everything. We have Blue Jays jerseys and we try to go to games. I even wrote a post on my blog that’s called Me, My Dad And Baseball. It is something that me and my dad can do together and have so much fun doing it, eating the food, singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game but most of all, I love just being together.

Me and my dad had had so much fun, we cherish memories and we learn from each other about love, family and more.

Me and My Dad. Father's Day 2013.

I love you daddy and have a awesome fathers day.

What has your father taught you?
