What Ducklings Trying Their Best To Climb Stairs Can Teach You

This video of a flock of ducklings trying so hard to get up two large steps is cute enough, but just like our parents, they know that it’s better to let them do it themselves to grow stronger. No one gets left behind, and you just have to keep trying your best. When you’re working in a team, everyone pulls together to help each other solving a problem instead of everyone doing their own tasks.

Hi Hannah! Such a pleasure to meet you at the International Dinner at Widdifield last evening. So nice you brought your friend Spencer along (giggle). I think I have heard of him before…

The ducklings…very interesting post in light of the event put on by the Widdifield FTC kids with the help of many community partners (and of course Jennifer Tanner!). The FTC kids continue to astound me and many adults as they, each year decide upon, plan, execute and celebrate their world changing efforts at Widdifield and in all the other Near North schools. Like the ducklings, they walk a new set of stairs each school year, and as kids graduate, new ‘ducklings’ join and add their own special part to the Me to We movement in North Bay. I wasn’t able to come back to Widdifield today to hear you and Spencer and Everest address the group – but know you, and Spencer and Craig and Mark and the whole M2W organization have ‘home’ here in North Bay.

Thank you for visiting us, and taking a short while to talk with me yesterday…it was an honour young lady. Safe travels…

Steve (the other bald guy with glasses…)

      Hello Steve and Hannah,
Steve, I am Hannah’s next door neighbour. I need to comment on your post because the school you are talking about is the one that my husband graduated from!
I understand that there is a reunion coming up – maybe we’ll have a chance to meet there!
So Hannah, you have once again shown the inter-connected-ness of our world! I hope you will have a picture or two to show Barry.

Thank you Heather! I hope that I get to meet Steve at the reunion, I will be back at home in two weeks. I absolutely cannot wait to see you, Barry and Buster. Please remember that it is not just me that can change the world, you and everyone else can make a difference in their community and in the world!
