In September Craig and Marc Kielburger were given a great honour and inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame. They were recognized for all that they have done with Free The Children, Me To We and We Day to have such big impacts on the world. The impacts that they have made local, national and global. They have inspired so many young Canadians, like me, to believe that we can make a difference in our communities and in our world.
The ceremony for The Walk of Fame was the day after We Day Toronto. What an exciting time it was for them. Jacob Hoggard presented them with their award. I was very honoured to have been asked to share a message about Craig and Marc and wish them congratulations. My video message to them was included in the video that also included Nellie Furtado, Martin Sheen, Al Gore, Nina Dobrev, Mike “Pinball” Clemons and Kardinal Offishall.

It really shows why Marc and Craig are deserving of this honour and why they are role models to me and hundreds of thousands of kids (and adults) around the world.
