My We Day Toronto 2013: Photo Gallery

September 21, 2013 By callmehannah 2 Comments

Today is the day after We Day Toronto 2013, and I really don’t have the words yet to describe my experience. A few comes to mind, though. Inspiration. Motivation. Empowering. Fun. Honoured. After having made 4 speeches, one of which was on the We Day stage, today I am speechless. Here are some of my photos and a snapshot of the last few days.

Hannah, what a wonderful treat to see your work! I am on the board of directors for the Friends of the Children’s Eternal Rainforest, the largest private reserve in Central America, purchased by school children in 44 countries raising money in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Unfortunately, it takes money to pay guards and protect this place. Too many of today’s kids are spending their time on video games instead of getting involved, like you do, or like the kids who contributed to set aside this rainforest. Check out our website! We’d love to have you recommend our project to kids who follow you!

Thank you so much Maggie! That’s really cool that so many people from so many countries went this far for a project! Now that is the power of WE! I will totally check out your website!
