My Interview with Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls

March 6, 2013 By callmehannah 49 Comments

The Indigo Girls were just in Toronto for a show. They are my mom’s all-time favourite band and she never misses a show. This was my second time seeing them and their show was awesome. After the show I got a chance to go backstage and interview Amy Ray. Amy is really fun to talk to and I was so glad to hear all her messages and what they’re doing as social and environmental activists.

So many interviewers ask the same questions, so the interviews sound alike. Yours were different, we learned different things by watching it. Amy really seemed to enjoy it to. I think you were well prepared and did a great job. Thanks!

Hi Hannah, what a great interview you did! Such interesting and informative questions. My husband is from Canada, I’m in Berkeley, California where we live now, and one of our first dates was an Indigo Girls concert. It is so great to see someone your age so commited already to environmental and social issues, you would fit right in here. It is very inspiring. I agree with Amy, I hope you can move to the U.S. and run for office!
