Jordin Tootoo Changes A Life By Giving Kid His Stick

April 26, 2014 By callmehannah 6 Comments

During a pregame warm-up, Jordin Tootoo, currently playing for the Red Wings’ AHL team, the Grand Rapids Griffins, noticed a kid extending his hand for a high-five and calling out his name, “Tootoo!”

Tootoo responded in the best way possible. He said, “What’s up buddy?” and handed him his stick.

“That’s all yours.”

The kid showed the best face ever.

Jordin has shown all of us it just takes a few seconds to change someone else’s life for good. Let’s all do something today for the better.

That is amazing. Making a kid that happy must feel awesome.
If we all followed this example there would be no more depression and a lot more inspiration.

Thank you Sierra! This is an amazing example of little things add up to make a huge difference, Jordin made this kid so happy just by giving him his hockey stick. You are right, there is lots of inspiration in the world and we just have to make a bit more progress.

The reason that Spencer, Neverest and I are actually doing this tour is not to encourage you to continue your fundrasing. We want to celebrate what YOU are doing, the impacts taht youth like YOU are making, this tour is not about us. We are here to honor you.
